Hyaat Chaudhary
Founder & CEO
Chaudhary started and sold his first Internet company while still pursuing his undergrad at Emory University. After two years working for an early-stage venture capital firm, then five years working for a $300 million leveraged buyout firm, Chaudhary resigned in 2009 to follow his dreams of building a successful large-scale Internet-based business from the ground up.
During his private equity career, Chaudhary was involved with every stage of the investment process and was actively involved with the companies post-investment. He acquired and sold businesses both internationally and domestically and has served as an interim executive for portfolio companies. Chaudhary attended over 200 board meetings throughout his career and has served on several boards, including those of companies with revenue in excess of $300 million.
Chaudhary graduated in the top 10% of his undergrad class at Emory University and was awarded Valedictorian of his MBA class at the University of Michigan. He is formerly nationally ranked in chess and is a member of MENSA. Chaudhary lives in Birmingham, MI with his wife Sheila and twin daughters Mia and Alaina.
